Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs the refund and cancellation procedures for bookings made through the RIDZ website ( and the RIDZ mobile application ("App"). By using the RIDZ services, you agree to comply with this Policy.

  1. Cancellation by Users
  2. 1.1 Cancellation Policy: Users may cancel a booking subject to the cancellation policy specified at the time of booking. The cancellation policy may vary based on the type of service and the specific terms and conditions set by RIDZ.

    1.2 Cancellation Charges: Applicable cancellation charges may be deducted from the refund amount, if applicable, based on the cancellation policy. The cancellation charges will be clearly communicated at the time of cancellation.

  3. Cancellation by RIDZ
  4. 2.1 Cancellation by RIDZ: RIDZ reserves the right to cancel a booking in the following circumstances:

    • Unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from providing the booked service.
    • Unavailability of drivers or e-rickshaws for the confirmed booking.
    • Non-compliance with our Terms of Use or other relevant policies.

    2.2 Alternative Solutions or Refunds: In the event of a cancellation by RIDZ, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative solution, such as rescheduling the booking or arranging for an alternative mode of transportation. If an alternative solution is not feasible or acceptable, RIDZ will refund the applicable amount paid for the canceled booking.

  5. Refunds
  6. 3.1 Refund Process: Refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for the booking. The refund amount, if applicable, will be processed as soon as possible, but the timing of the refund may vary depending on the payment provider and the banking system.

    3.2 Refund Eligibility: Refunds will only be provided for eligible cancellations as per the applicable cancellation policy. Refunds will not be provided for bookings that are not canceled within the specified timeframes or for no-shows.

    3.3 Non-Refundable Charges: Certain charges, such as booking fees or non-refundable amounts, may be non-refundable and will not be included in the refund amount.
